After losing 6 fights in a row, you heard me, 6 fights in a row, Jens Pulver has finally won a fight. On January 22, 2011, Jens fought some no-name Mike "The Assassin" Linquist at XFO 38 in Woodstock, Illinois. I just found this out today, and I am so happy for this poor-motherfucker. Once a UFC Lightweight Champion, Jens has been on a massive decline as of late. After every fight, the sorry son of a bitch cries and tells fans he doesn't want to put them through another loss, but yet, he keeps fighting and keeps losing. If I had lost 6 fights in a row, I would consider retirement, and then maybe jumping off the Tobin bridge (just kidding). In this fight though, Jens locked up a RNC 49 seconds into the fight and received his first win in about 3 years.
Theres been rumors around that World Of Warcraft had ruined Lil' Evil's career. The game known to ruin kids lives reportedly caused Pulver to be glued to his computer. This probably kept him from training consistently. If this is true (I hope its not), its pretty pathetic. Id understand a 14 year old being addicted to this game, but a well-known fighter that could probably get a fight booked for him in any small-unknown organization? That's just absurd. Well, I hope he continues on his winning ways instead of playing "WoW" and pulling his pud all day.
