UFC 134: Rio Prediction Results

Because of college, I've been mad late on this, but its here. On the 27th of August, UFC 134 delivered in Rio, ending as one of the best cards I had seen in a while. To start off the night, Stanislav Nedkov defeated Luiz Cane via TKO in a late 1st round upset, Minotauro Nogueira pleased his Brazilian home town fans with an upset KO over Brendan Schaub, Edson Barboza barely defeated Ross Pearson in a split decision, Mauricio "Shogun" Rua made quick work of Forrest Griffin with a round 1 KO, and Anderson Silva defended his Middleweight Championship by defeating Yushin Okami with a skillful Ali-like TKO in round 2.

All I have to say is, when GSP beats Condit, yes, WHEN he beats Condit, Dana better set up GSP/Silva. Also, good for Minotauro for knocking out for Schaub. I thought for sure he would have been demolished in front of a crazy home crowd. Thank god he won though, the riots might have been like Vancouver.

As for the points, Joe and I (Shawn) got 6 points, Vinny got 5 points, and Jon got 2 points.

Standings:
Shawn: 70 points
Joe: 68 points
Vinny: 61 points
Jon: 56 points
