Gettin' mad lazy with these, so I'm gonna bust out a quickie.

In the first bout of the night, MW Tom Lawlor knocked out fellow MW Jason MacDonald in just 50 seconds (and on his birthday). Following this, two LHW's Igor Pokrajac and Fabio Maldonado slugged it out on the feet for 15 straight minutes in a potential FOTN winner. In the end, Pokrajac was awarded the judges decision (29-28, 30-27, 29-28). Next, BW's Yves Jabouin and Jeff Hougland fought in a bout that was controlled and dominated completely by Jabouin on the feet and on the ground, winning a landslide unanimous decision (30-27, 30-26, 20-27).

In the 4th fight of the evening, LW's Donald Cerrone and Jeremy Stephens squared off. The bout was controlled mainly on the feet by Cerrone's superior kickboxing, as he won the fight via unanimous decision  (30-27's all around). In the co-main event, WW's Amir Sadollah and Jorge Lopez toughed it out in a fight that was very close. I havent been very impressed with Sadollah lately, and this maybe should have gone towards Lopez's favor, but the TUF 7 winner Sadollah walked away with the split decision victory (28-29, 29-28, 29-28)

In the main event, FW stars "The Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung and Dustin Poirier battled it out. Throughout the first 3 rounds, KZ went to town on Poirier, showcasing his superior striking ability. Poirier did put up a great fight back though, as after three rounds fans knew this would be FOTN. In the 4th frame of the bout, the fight hit the mat, and KZ showcased his BJJ, as he submitted Poirier with a d'arce choke just about a minute in.

Standings:

Shawn: 49 points

These are mad late, but oh well. Lets get straight to the action.

To start off the main card, heavy hitters Pat Barry and Lavar Johnson slugged it out in a fight that fans new wouldn't last all 15 minutes. Barry proved much superior to Johnson on the ground, as he held him there for a long time. Eventually the fight was stood back up, and Johnson took advantage, battering Barry up against the cage. With Barry giving no offense in return, he was hit until he was forced to fall or give up. Johnson ended up defeating Barry via TKO at 4:38 of round 1. In the second fight of the card, Alan Belcher squared off against BJJ ace and leg lock specialist Rousimar Palhares. It was known that Palhares was looking to take this fight to the ground and that Alan Belcher would have little chance to win if Palhares got hold of his leg. To everyone's amazement, Palhares took Belcher down and held on to a leg, but Belcher defended it for most of the opening round. Eventually, Belcher worked his way out of the leg lock and delivered some powerful shots in Palhares' guard, ending the fight via TKO at 4:18 of the 1st round.

In the co-main event, WW's Josh Koscheck and Johny Hendricks squared off in a very close bout. The majority of the bout was spent on the feet, as Hendricks threw powerful shots at Koscheck. Koscheck landed his fair share of strikes as well, but constant pressure of Hendricks is what made the difference. It was very close, but the judges saw it as a split decision victory for Johny Hendricks (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)

In the main event, title contenders Nate Diaz and Jim Miller battled for a chance to potentially be the #1 contender. In the opening round, Diaz showcased his boxing, by frustrating Jim Miller on the feet. Miller had his share of moments, but the first round clearly went to Diaz. The second round was similar for the most part, but towards the end of the second round the fight hit the mat and Diaz locked in a guillotine. Diaz's BJJ is top notch, and from there it was all over. Diaz won the fight via submission at 4:09 of round 2.

Standings:
Alex: 50 points
Joe: 44 points
Jon: 42 points
Shawn: 42 points
